Google wants to blow up the moon.

No really, they do.

A privately funded race to land a rover on the moon could cost each team well more than the $20 million grand prize they’re vying for, but all of the contestants view Google’s Lunar X Prize as a new engine for business in space.

A “rover”, yeah, sure. We all know what that means in Google-speak. Why would we want a rover on the moon? We’ve already been there, done that. We’ve got rovers on Mars for Pete’s sake. “Business in space”? As if there’s an interplanetary Avon lady banging down our door.

Get over yourself, Google.

  1. Why do you say that they want to blow it up?
Also, if the video/pic is the explination, I wouldn’t know because my computer won’t let me see it. :-(

  2. I added a link to the reference… it’s a video I posted a few weeks ago… click the words “Get over yourself” on the last line.

  3. Oh, cool.
